Hi, I'm Nathan Belles!

Software Developer

What I am all about.

During my time in the U.S. Navy, I developed many valuable skills including the ability to take initiative, work either independently or as a team, depending on requirements and the task at hand, and pay attention to details. I was fortunate enough to have leaders who taught me strong leadership and the importance of accountability. I was held to a high standard and had to demonstrate sound judgement both here in the United States and in foreign cultures abroad.

I further refined my leadership skills while honing my programming skills as I worked as a coding instructor for 1st through 12th graders while being a full-time student at the University of Maryland Global Campus. My time management skills were proven as I maintained a 4.0 GPA.

Since graduating, I've been working at OpalSoft, Inc. as an Software Test Engineer, creating and managing automated tests for 4 projects. I've gained experience in C#, the Selenium framework, the ServiceNow framework, agile development, and Git and Team Foundation version control systems.
